Product description
Birch plywood overlaid with a white laminate that endures well ultraviolet rays and chemicals.

Panels are suitable for painting in both exterior and interior uses, signs, billboards, fences and shelves.

Bonding
Phenolic resin cross-bonded weather resistant glueing according to EN 314-2 (Plywood - Bonding) class 3 exterior.

Surface:
Face
White melamine laminate (colour abt. RAL 9010), coating weight abt 250 g/m2.
Reverse
White melamine resin coating (colour abt. RAL 9010), coating weight abt 250 g/m2.
The reverse can also have a dark brown phenolic film (120 g/m2).

Edge protection: White acryl-based paint.

Machining
Shapes, profiles and drillings according to customer's drawings available on request.

Thicknesses and weights
Thicknesses and tolerances fulfil the EN 315 (Plywood - Tolerances for dimensions) requirements and are in part stricter.

Size tolerances:

Squareness tolerance: +/- 1 mm / 1000 mm

Properties of panel surface
The wear resistance Taber ( DIN 53799) average 800 rev's.
The UV resistance (DIN 54004) good.
The water absorption (Cobb 7 days) less than 200 g/m2.

The WISA-White surface can be painted e.g. with two-component polyurethane paints.
Also tapes adhere well to panel surface.

Other information
Wisa-White is not recommended for applications where an impact resistance is needed or the panel surface is perforated.The melamine surface is hard-brittle and cracks easily.
